Enrique Alcaraz

 

Painter and Architect born in Mexico City in 1957. He moved to Quintana Roo in 1981 and made a life there until his final day in 2020.

 

He was a dreamer, surreal visionary, music connoisseur, mentor, and family man. He brought joy to lives near and far through his architectural and artistic works that are part of so many daily lives. He inspired others to be better at whatever they did by showing his dedication and love for his art.

He used his vivid imagination to create impossible worlds that draw you in and make you wish you could be there, he created loving, beautiful characters that jumped from one world to another. His knowledge of space perspective and architectural designs are very present in his artwork. He mainly worked with oil paints but his work spans from watercolor, to pastels, collage works, oil paints, ink drawings and digital art.

Pintor y Arquitecto nacido en la Ciudad de México en 1957, se mudó a Quintana Roo en 1981 e hizo una vida allí hasta su último día en 2020.

 

Fue un soñador, visionario surrealista, conocedor musical, mentor y hombre de familia. Trajo alegría a personas cerca y lejos a través de sus obras arquitectónicas y artísticas las cuales forman parte de numerosas vidas diarias. Inspiró a otros a ser mejores en cualquier cosa que hicieran, al ser un ejemplo a seguir, mostrando su dedicación y amor por su arte.

Usó su vívida imaginación para crear mundos imposibles que te atraen y te hacen desear poder estar allí, también creaba personajes hermosos y adorables. Su conocimiento de la perspectiva espacial y los diseños arquitectónicos están muy presentes en su obra. Trabajó principalmente con pinturas al óleo, pero su trabajo abarca desde acuarelas hasta pasteles, trabajos en collage, pinturas al óleo, dibujos a tinta y arte digital.
